BIOGRAPHY
John was born November 25, 1960, was
delivered by caesarean section and was 6lbs 3oz. and 20 inches long.
After President Kennedy's
death John was raised in 15 room fifth Avenue apartment. He
attended St. Davids Catholic
School from 1965-1968. Then went to colligiate school on the west side. John
graduated from Andover and
enrolled in college at Brown University, where he excelled in acting. He
performed in several plays including "Playboy of the Western World",
"Short Eyes", "Hamlet", and "Volpone"
He graduated from Brown University with a
major in History, and then enrolled at NYU to study law.. In 1988 People
magazine named him "The
Sexiest Man Alive" and to this day that copy of People has been the top seller
of all time. John Graduated in 1989 from NYU with a degree in law. He took
a $30,000 a year job as an
assistant district attorney in Manhattan. He won all six of his cases. Not bad
considering others picked on him for failing the bar exam twice.
It proved he knew his stuff. He left the D.A.'s office in
1993.
John launched George Magazine in September
of 1995 with the motto: "Not just politics as usual" He surprised everyone with showing tremendous
talent as a reporter, he even made the suggestion that Americans be
allowed to vote, via the
internet. John then married on
September 21,1996 to Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. A publicist for Calvin
Klein They were married
on Cumberland Island in
Georgia. John carried George
Magazine until his death, although in March of 2001 the magazine shared
it's final issue with it's
readers.
He was adventerous, active, and full of life. He led a normal yet
extraordinary life. We'll remember him with the same fullness his
life was filled with.
